Super Stud Triple Bypass Vertical Deflection Clip 6in long. The Super Stud Triple Bypass clips are used to support exterior wall studs that extend past a roof or floor. The short leg is connected to the edge of the slab or perimeter beam via either #12 screws or a 5/8” diameter large center hole which accommodates up to ½” diameter anchors. The slotted leg of the clip is connected to the exterior wall stud via standard #12 screws inserted through the patented Glide Plate™. This allows for up to 3″ of total vertical movement of the floor or roof without any additional axial load on the stud.
